Published stories are anonymous to readers and labelled “AI-edited for readability”. They are not fact-checked. Our AI editor keeps your meaning, including criticism, while improving grammar and removing identifying details. You always approve the edited preview.

The text and selected topic/destination are processed through Amazon Bedrock in EU AWS regions. Only the edited preview is stored in our contribution database. Unpublished previews expire after 24 hours and are then removed by the database’s expiry process. Published stories remain until removed by you or the site owner. Infrastructure backups can retain deleted data for up to 35 days.

If you choose “Remember my unfinished draft”, your original words and selections stay in this browser until you clear them or publish. Consent and private removal codes are never saved automatically. A small local record remembers that you contributed; clearing it does not remove your public story. Requests include your IP address; a daily-changing protected hash is used for short-lived spam limits. We do not store raw IP addresses or submission text in application logs. No account, advertising tracker or contribution email list is created.

AI checks can miss mistakes. Use “Report this experience” for private details, misleading advice, abuse or irrelevant content. Reports are kept for up to 30 days for the site owner to review; reporting does not immediately remove a story. Content that cannot be safely edited is not published automatically.
